Lees-McRae College is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker responsible for vehicle maintenance and repair, as well as maintaining campus facilities. The position requires a high school diploma or 4 years of experience in the field, and candidates must have a valid driver's license.
This role involves physical activities and requires the ability to lift/move heavy items. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend hours as needed.
Maintenance Worker reports to Maintenance Supervisor and assists in the physical upkeep of the College.
This position has no supervisory requirements.
Strenuous physical activity. Facilities workers are required to move around campus properties and work with equipment. Outside work is required during all types of weather conditions. Facilities workers must use proper protective clothing as needed.
No travel is expected for this position.
