Job summary

The Grand at Southern Hills in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our on-site team. You will help keep apartments, common areas, and outdoor spaces safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our residents, with duties including identifying needed repairs and handling work orders.

• Assist the Maintenance Director in identifying repairs in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, and parking areas.
• Complete work orders from residents and staff.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items.
• Resolve resident complaints promptly and politely.
• Complete special projects as directed.

Your Role

You will help keep every apartment, common area, and outdoor space at The Grand at Southern Hills safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our residents.

• Assist the Maintenance Director in identifying needed repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, parking areas, etc.
• Complete work orders from residents and staff
• Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs
• Resolve resident complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner
• Complete special projects as directed

Qualifications

• Previous experience of at least 1 year in general maintenance and/or construction
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Pleasant, detail-oriented, and friendly
• Love for seniors!
