Job summary

Indiana County YMCA in Indiana, PA seeks a Facilities Worker – Maintenance to perform general facility maintenance, repairs, and custodial duties. The role supports daily operations under the Director of Facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members, participants, staff and visitors.

Part-time position, up to 15 hours per week, pay $15.00 per hour. Required qualifications include a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and comfort with outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles, tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work including standing, bending, and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and custodial duties as assigned.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs.
• Complete snow removal, ice control, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.
• Set up and move furniture, equipment, and rooms for YMCA programs and events.
• Identify and report maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, functional, and welcoming facility.
