Real Property Management Principles is seeking a Maintenance Work Order Coordinator in the Kansas City area. You will coordinate property maintenance, including tasks like light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, and manage vendor relationships to keep residences in top condition.

The role emphasizes customer service, professional appearance, and timely responses to work orders. A valid driver’s license and 2+ years in maintenance are required, with base pay between $18-23/hour

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in maintenance or a trade (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonry, etc).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use a smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance work for properties, including general maintenance, light electrical/plumbing/carpentry, painting, landscaping, and appliance maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely, quality work.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and maintain a professional appearance.
• Help improve properties through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

With a pay range between $18-$23, depending on experience, you will be responsible for providing a great resident experience by keeping the property looking great and working well. This could include pools, landscaping, exercise equipment, appliances, heating and cooling systems, overhead doors, and lighting (just to name a few).Furthermore, properties will need repairs, painting, and cleaning between tenants and during residency.
