Job summary

Alter Trading Corporation seeks a Maintenance/Welder in Green Bay, WI on day shift to perform basic repairs on conveyors, change motor boxes and bearings, and weld using stick welding. The role supports general maintenance to keep facilities running smoothly.

Hours are Monday through Friday 6:30am–4:00pm, with Saturday possible based on operational needs. Requires stick welding, fabricating skills, and 2–3 years welding plus preventative maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Welding (stick) and fabricating skills are required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30–50 pounds.
• 2–3 years welding experience and 2–3 years preventative maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance/Welder operates welding equipment and assists with general maintenance needs.
• Performs basic repairs such as on conveyors, motor boxes and bearings.
