Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for the Fri-Sun 6 PM-6 AM weekend shift in Huntington, IN. You will lead complex maintenance projects, diagnose advanced issues, and support automations and upgrades across PLC, SCADA, electrical systems and HVAC.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree and 5+ years in industrial maintenance, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration. On-site role with competitive pay and benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex systems.
• Full PLC diagnostics and minor programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
• Maintain SCADA and HMI systems.
• Robotics and automation systems support.
• Perform advanced electrical diagnostics and controls work.
• Manage maintenance projects and system upgrades and retrofits.
• Technical training and development of team members.
• Communicate and assist with outside vendors.
• Perform electrical panel work and wiring (all voltages).
• Install electrical infrastructure (all voltages).
• Plumbing repair and installation (black iron pipe, PVC, Pneumatic tubing).
• Calibration of sensors and instrumentation.
• Maintain HVAC systems.
• Fabricate and weld complex components (MIG/Stick).

Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

The Level A Technician leads complex maintenance and automation projects, performs advanced diagnostics, and supports system upgrades and integration. This role is critical to plant reliability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
