Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Maintenance Utility Worker to perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks in maintaining facilities and furnishings. The role includes cleaning, repairs, and upkeep of gaming tables, upholstery, carpets, windows, and fixtures in a high-pressure environment.

Candidates should be 21+, able to follow directions, work well in a team, and maintain a positive attitude while multitasking.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow direction and work as a team.
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well under stress.
• Must be a self-starter and able to adjust to change.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, relocates, and cleans gaming tables.
• Cleans and polishes windows, brass, and plexiglass.
• Extracts upholstery on chairs and couches and cleans carpets.
• Cleans HVAC vents, furniture, and fixtures.
• Sweeps, mops, degreases, and polishes hard floors.
• Operates and handles cleaning equipment.
• Ensures a clean, safe, hazard-free environment.
