Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Savannah, GA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Activities & Transportation Assistant to support building maintenance, grounds, and resident transportation. The role is split roughly 50/50 between maintenance duties and van driving plus activities support for residents.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and prior experience in maintenance or related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience preferred in maintenance, operations, activities, or transportation.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to drive a community van and transport residents.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform maintenance tasks on building, grounds, and equipment.
• Transport residents in a community van to appointments and events.
• Assist Life Enrichment team with planning and facilitating activities.
• Maintain safety and assist with community events and outings.
• Build positive relationships with residents and provide compassionate service.
