Job summary

Ameren is seeking a Training Supervisor – Maintenance to lead development and delivery of craft training for technicians across Energy Center facilities, with emphasis on pipefitting, welding, and welding codes.

You will schedule courses, supervise hands-on and classroom instruction, assess exams, and ensure safety and compliance while updating content to reflect current practices. Travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant experience required (electrician/technician/machinist or repairman).
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred; experience developing/delivering adult training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training for Energy Center maintenance craft apprentices and journeyman.
• Schedule courses, provide hands-on and classroom instruction, prepare, validate and grade exams, and evaluate student performance.
• Inspect welds and ensure welding integrity and compliance with standards.
• Design, build or procure and maintain training aids and materials.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver training effectively and ensure safety and documentation.
