Job summary

Infinitek Limited seeks a Maintenance Training Supervisor to lead training program development and delivery across a busy maintenance operation in an underground mining setting.

You will craft SOPs, run train-the-trainer initiatives, and ensure records and compliance with MSHA standards, while coaching teams to safe, efficient practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Audit training practices to ensure standards are followed.
• Update SOPs through the MOC process and manage MSHA requirements.
• Support annual refresher training and underground safety compliance.

Maintenance Training Supervisor | Mining & Industrial Operations

Are you passionate about safety, developing people, and driving maintenance excellence?

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Training Supervisor to lead the development and delivery of training programs across a busy maintenance operation.

This is an opportunity for someone with a strong industrial background, excellent safety awareness, and the ability to turn technical knowledge into effective, practical training. You'll play a key role in ensuring maintenance teams are equipped with the skills, knowledge and procedures needed to work safely and efficiently.

Underground mining experience would be a major advantage!

What will you be doing?

• Developing and maintaining training programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), standards and policies.
• Delivering classroom, practical and equipment-specific training to maintenance employees.
• Establishing and overseeing a train-the-trainer program, identifying and developing effective internal trainers.
• Working with maintenance supervisors and foremen to identify skills gaps and training requirements.
• Coordinating onboarding, refresher training and equipment-specific retraining.
• Maintaining training records, employee training matrices and compliance documentation.
• Auditing training practices and procedures to ensure standards are consistently followed.
• Conducting risk assessments and updating SOPs through the Management of Change (MOC) process.
• Supporting annual refresher training and ensuring employees understand applicable MSHA safety requirements.
• Providing hands-on training for underground equipment and supporting underground escape tours for new employees.
• Supervising trainers and employees during training activities, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of operational experience in an industrial environment.
• Underground mining experience, ideally within a maintenance function.
• Previous experience delivering training, coaching employees or developing training materials.
• A strong understanding of equipment safety, operating procedures and risk assessments.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and the ability to influence safe working practices.
• Good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Additional requirements:

• MSHA Blue Card certification is preferred.
• Candidates must have completed MSHA 40-hour training or provide acceptable documentation of completed training.
• ATF possessor's clearance is required.
• Successful completion of the required pre-employment physical, drug screening and capacity assessment.

The role involves a hands-on industrial environment, including underground work, and may require nights, weekends or rotating shifts.
