Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance associate for the night shift (4:30pm–4:30am) to assist with routine plant equipment maintenance and repairs. You will learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems under supervision, support preventive maintenance, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Qualified candidates have demonstrated mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow instructions, and a safety-first attitude.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with routine maintenance and repair of plant equipment and machinery on night shift, 4:30pm-4:30am
• Fuel equipment, put DEF, check speed reducers, change shaker oil etc.
• Learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems under supervision
• Support preventative maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Participate in training programs to build technical skills and knowledge

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment

• Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in maintenance
• Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing priorities

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
