Tessera is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Trades Helper in Petersburg, VA (Fort Lee) to support skilled trades in electrical, carpentry, plumbing and masonry tasks. The role involves assisting with maintenance, supplies, and safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

This development position requires at least 3 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain security clearances. Full-time daytime schedule with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid State Driver’s license required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Assists skilled workers in electrical, carpentry, plumbing and masonry tasks with supervision.
• Assists with supply functions: loading/unloading, stocking, inspecting equipment and inventories.
• Utilizes computers/handheld devices for timekeeping, data entry, and work management.
• Maintains safety procedures and professional conduct in the workplace.
