Job summary

Englewood Health is seeking a maintenance mechanic to perform routine maintenance and servicing across the hospital complex. You will respond to emergencies and routine calls, working under supervision, and follow EHMC policies. A basic toolset knowledge is expected and a path toward certification in construction trades is encouraged.

Location is Englewood, NJ, with shifts on days from 7a to 3p. A high school diploma or GED plus technical school progress is required, and the organization offers

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 3 months exposure to trades.
• Must have strong interest in pursuing certification in one or more of the construction trades.

Responsibilities

• Performs general routine maintenance and servicing operations throughout the hospital complex and other areas as directed.
• Responds to emergencies and routine calls in a timely manner.
• Communicates with administration, directors, staff, patients and visitors.
• Follows the Facilities Department and EHMC policies.
