Job summary

PCSI is seeking a Maintenance Trades Assistant for NavSea in San Diego, CA. The role covers minor adjustments and repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems, and involves light carpentry, doors, windows, and floor work.

The position reports to the Project Manager, typically Monday through Friday 6:30am-3pm, with responsibilities including preventative maintenance, paperwork, and operation of a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to perform the duties as described.
• Prior facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor adjustments and repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other systems.
• Maintain and inspect mechanical rooms; perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate company vehicle and complete required paperwork.
• Move/ rearrange office furniture as needed.
