Job summary

Science and Engineering Services, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) in Huntsville, Alabama. The MTP will utilize flight test techniques to perform test flights, ensuring the aircraft meets airworthiness standards following maintenance or modifications.

The ideal candidate must hold an FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and have completed the Army Maintenance Test Pilot Course. Experience with 1,000 hours of flight time, including 300 hours in similar aircraft, is required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain FAA Class II medical certificate.
• Must have thorough knowledge of flight operations requirements.
• Dual-qualification as Instructor Pilot/Maintenance Test Pilot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform flight readiness inspections and maintenance checks.
• Conduct flight tests to determine airworthiness post-maintenance.
• Complete test flight check sheets in accordance with maintenance manuals.
