Overview: This position will support Aviation Field and Sustainment Level Maintenance on the MH-60M rotary wing aircraft as part of our Contractor Field Team at HAAF.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Maintenance Test Flights, Functional Test Flights, and MOCs to determine the functionality of airframe, power plant, mission accessories, and other aircraft equipment in accordance with design specifications.
- Conduct Test Flights in all Special Operations dedicated flight envelopes, including high gross weight and Multi-mode Radar flight profiles.
- Use ground and in-flight diagnostic test equipment during various phases of flight, including engine run-up and taxi, to ensure aircraft systems or components disturbed during inspection or maintenance are repaired, reassembled, or adjusted.
- Perform aircraft weight and balance MTPs; be aircraft qualified and perform aircrew duties IAW applicable -10 manuals and USASOAC Aircrew Training Manuals in support of various flight types.
- Support aircraft deliveries from DEPOT facilities with MOC/Test flights.
- Transport maintenance equipment to/from remote sites to support CFT maintenance efforts.
- Work may include weekend, holiday, day, and night shifts as required.
Qualifications:
- Must possess an instrument rating on FAA commercial Certificate.
- Successfully completed US Army Aircraft Maintenance Officers Course (AMOC) Phase I/II.
- Minimum of 150 flight hours performing MTP duties.
- At least 2 years' experience on MH-60 series aircraft; UH-60M experience preferred.
- Aviators previously qualified in US Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASOAC) MDS aircraft highly preferred.
- Must undergo and pass initial and annual Second Class Flight Physical Medical Certification.
- Complete initial and annual flight evaluations IAW AR 95-1 and all ATM tasks.
- Maintain currency IAW USASOAC and 160th Regimental Tactical Operations Procedures.
- Pass Naval Class II Swim test, Dunker, and EBS Device training.
- Must possess an FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance required.
