Position Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician (Welder) in Spartanburg, SC, responsible for maintaining plant equipment, welding, rigging, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks using CMMS, including closing work orders and scheduling routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues collaboratively with production technicians.
• Ensure proper equipment turnaround, housekeeping, and documentation.
• Maintain tools and equipment, including calibration and cleaning.
• Maintain plant systems such as fire protection, process, water, and steam boilers.
• Perform welding (TIG, stick) and rigging activities.
• Rebuild and maintain rotating equipment, including alignment and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Technical associate degree in mechanical disciplines or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, welding, rigging, and using maintenance tools.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and risk assessment.
