Job Description

Danfoss has an opening for a Weekend Warrior Industrial Maintenance Technician, supporting the Maintenance Technician Lead in installing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment throughout the plant.

This role involves interaction with colleagues in the Maintenance Department and other departments, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment such as manufacturing, process, and quality engineering tools, as well as machining and technical personnel.

The working hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, with potential overtime.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions using volt meters, Meggers, and other tools.
• Analyze test results and error messages to identify issues.
• Repair and maintain Fanuc/ABB Robotics, CNC Machines, and other industrial equipment.
• Replace faulty modules and components.
• Install and maintain hydraulic circuits and components.
• Maintain operating condition of all industrial production equipment.
• Perform automation troubleshooting, including motors, VFDs, and motor starters.
• Repair inventory and quality control systems hardware.
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE, NFPA-70, NEC, and OSHA standards.

Background & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in industrial maintenance is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/hydraulic drawings and schematics is a plus.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments is beneficial.
• Strong computer skills are advantageous.
• Familiarity with fieldbuses (Profinet/Profibus/EIP/DeviceNet) and troubleshooting I/O is a plus.
• Team player willing to work overtime and eager to learn.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods, handle tools, reach, walk, talk, hear, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Exposure to moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and noise is possible. PPE must be worn as required.
