Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities and equipment in safe working order at our distribution center. You will lead equipment moves and new installations, and receive ongoing training to grow in the role.

Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 6:00pm-6:00am. You will perform varied technical maintenance tasks and support operations with a safety-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical trade experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance; corrective/breakdown experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Must earn and maintain PIT and Yard Truck certifications.
• Work indoors and outdoors, including inclement weather.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

SCHEDULE:

Friday-Sunday 6:00pm-6:00am

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Maintenance Technician, you're the "go-to" when it comes to keeping our facilities and equipment in safe working order. You will perform a variety of technical maintenance and service functions on equipment, systems and facilities in our distribution center. In this role, you will also spearhead equipment moves and new equipment installations. AEO offers multiple levels of opportunity for Maintenance Technicians based on skill and experience. QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical trade experience, a plus
• Basic knowledge with industrial (distribution) maintenance; corrective/breakdown experience
• Ability to follow instructions
• Must follow set safety procedures and guidelines
• Self-motivated, responsible, safety-oriented individual with time management skills.
• Must earn and maintain Powered Industrial Truck operator certification as well as Yard Truck certification
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including in inclement weather
• Have knowledge, understand, and keep certification on First Aid/CPR and AED
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, powered hand tools, and electrical test and measurement equipment
• Ability to understand and follow established SOPs
• Fabrication/welding experience, a plus
• Flexibility to work all days and shifts, including overtime on request
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite, a plus
