Job summary

SendCutSend is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems across three buildings. You will minimize downtime, support production output, and maintain maintenance logs for CNC laser cutters, press brakes, and finishing equipment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read manuals and safety docs.

Qualifications

  • Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and industrial equipment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, compressed air, hydraulics, and industrial plumbing.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using standard maintenance tools and procedures.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair production and finishing equipment including CNC laser cutters, press brakes, and finishing equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and consistent production output.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues across production and facility systems.
  • Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
  • Monitor and support operator-level maintenance practices, ensuring daily cleaning, inspections, and basic maintenance tasks are consistently performed.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, equipment documentation, and spare parts inventory.
  • Help identify and track critical spare parts and consumables needed to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining maintenance procedures and safety documentation.
  • Participate in equipment upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support general facility maintenance including lighting, HVAC coordination, and minor building repairs.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Qualifications


  • Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and industrial equipment

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, compressed air, hydraulics, and industrial plumbing

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using standard maintenance tools and procedures

  • Experience performing preventative maintenance tasks

  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety documentation

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain organized maintenance records


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience maintaining CNC laser cutters, press brakes, finishing systems, or similar fabrication equipment

  • Familiarity with electrical controls, sensors, relays, and motor drives

  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems

  • Familiarity with facility systems such as dust collection, compressors, and power distribution

  • Experience working with OEM vendors or equipment manufacturers

  • Forklift experience


Physical Requirements


  • Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shifts

  • Ability to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment


Work Environment


  • Manufacturing and production floor environment

  • Exposure to noise, temperature variation, moving machinery, metal materials, and finishing chemistry

  • Use of required protective equipment at all times
