Upper East Side Location

Housed in a historic building that was once MOMA's art warehouse, this location features over 9,600 sq ft of space with art-inspired walls, baths at different temperatures, and six double massage rooms, offering a unique setting for relaxation.

The Role

As a Maintenance/Pool Technician, you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to maintain the facility's physical condition and ensure the upkeep of pools and other systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of 8 pools, including chemical levels, temperatures, cleanliness, and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues.
• Support adherence to the Annual Maintenance Plan.
• Organize stock and supplies, and assist in controlling stock levels.
• Provide regular reports on the facility's physical state.
• Perform general maintenance duties as needed.
• Learn and follow company's policies and systems.
• Complete daily checklists and submit reports.

Who You Are

• Eager to learn; training will be provided.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of facility operations, including basic maintenance, electricity, HVAC, water treatment, and boilers.
• Able to multitask and think quickly.
• Punctual, reliable, flexible with scheduling.
• Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) is a plus.
• Comfortable with noise, wet/humid conditions, fumes, odors, and hazards.
• Capable of following detailed instructions.
• Independent and team-oriented.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
