TOPS Staffing is hiring two Maintenance Technicians for a union manufacturing facility in the United States. One daylight shift and one afternoon shift, with training alongside the current technician who has worked there for about 20 years.

Training and scheduling will emphasize learning the facility, equipment, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer before taking on the role independently. A long‑term opportunity with a stable employer awaits.

Qualificações

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform basic welding/fabrication.
• Inspect facility and equipment routinely and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues for repairs.
• Document work and maintain accurate time sheets and records.
• Be dependable and able to work independently, with safety as a priority.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Perform welding and basic fabrication as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance throughout the facility.
• Repair and maintain machines, equipment, and building structures.
• Identify potential equipment problems before they lead to downtime.
• Report unsafe conditions or unsafe equipment to management.
• Properly document maintenance work and completed tasks.
• Maintain accurate daily time sheets for assigned work.
• Properly handle parts, units, assemblies, tools, and equipment.
• Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, safe, and operational.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are accounted for after completing assigned work.
• Take responsibility for the quality and completion of work performed.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager
