Job summary

gpac is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Wisconsin to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.

You will document work in CMMS, coordinate with production and outside contractors, and follow all safety policies. This position offers opportunities for growth and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance-tracking software
Strong attention to safety procedures and documentation

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
Repair or replace defective parts, motors, belts, bearings, pumps, and components
Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs
Maintain HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and basic electrical systems
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls
Document work performed using maintenance logs or CMMS systems
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements
Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and facility improvements
Coordinate with production, operations, and outside contractors as needed
