Job summary

The BAM Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Indiana to join our close-knit BAMFAM. You’ll handle hands-on maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems, delivering dependable service to residents while fostering a team‑oriented culture.

You’ll work with the team to prevent issues, document needs, and provide after-hours support as required. A high school diploma and 2–3 years of experience are expected; EPA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
• EPA Type 2 or Universal certification (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural elements.
• Deliver top-notch service to residents by keeping interiors and exteriors in prime condition.
• Schedule preventative maintenance and document issues before they escalate.
• Provide after-hours emergency support as needed.
• Collaborate with a loyal, family‑oriented team to ensure reliability.

Physical Demands:

This is a hands‑on role, so expect to be on your feet, moving, bending, climbing, and lifting heavy objects. You’ll need the stamina to keep up with the demands of the job.

Is This You?

If you have a high school diploma (or equivalent), 2-3 years of maintenance experience, and hold a valid driver’s license, you're already ahead of the game. If you also have an EPA Type 2 or Universal certification, even better!

Pay is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, education, and the overall compensation package.

Position Pay Range

$17 - $19 USD
