Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Citizen at Waterset in Apollo Beach, FL. The role involves interior and exterior maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety compliance to ensure a well-kept community and high resident satisfaction.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, respond to repair requests, and coordinate with vendors while upholding Bell Core Values and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of previous maintenance experience in a similar facility preferred.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities, based on staffing levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Understanding of Bell Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Always show respect for residents and staff; provide excellent customer service.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance and equipment maintenance as scheduled.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authority before entering apartments.
• Follow safety/OSHA requirements; attend in-service training.
