Job summary

The Stellar Family of Companies is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician in Texas to keep our multifamily communities operating at their best and to deliver an exceptional resident experience. You’ll handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general repairs with a proactive mindset and teamwork.

You will respond to service requests, prepare vacant units, perform inspections, and help maintain safety and cleanliness while supporting onsite teams and property management.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and grounds upkeep.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain apartment homes and prep vacant units for new residents.
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues as they arise.
• Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections.
• Maintain common areas and grounds appearance.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances and general repairs.
• Monitor inventory and maintain tools and supplies.
• Work closely with property management and onsite teams.
• Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
