Job summary

Aptar is seeking a Maintenance Technician Team Lead in Auburn, AL to supervise a maintenance team and drive reliable equipment performance in a manufacturing injection-molding environment.

You will oversee maintenance planning, safety compliance, and cost management while ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective training for staff.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electro-mechanical/electronics/electricity.
• 1–3+ years in a manufacturing injection molding maintenance role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• AC/DC electricity experience (24V–480V).
• Strong troubleshooting across electrical, hydraulics and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and assign tasks.
• Maintain and repair equipment and facilities.
• Oversee ordering and stocking of operating supplies.
• Perform regular maintenance inspections and audits.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans for equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls and take action.
• Monitor maintenance costs and ensure efficiency.
• Train staff on safety protocols and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Aptar expectations.

WHAT'S NEW WITH APTAR

We have an exciting position open in North America: Maintenance Technician Team Lead reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This position will be based in Auburn, AL.

THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS

ResponsibilitiesInclude but are not limited to the following:

• Supervise a team of maintenance staff and assign tasks to them
• Maintain and repair equipment and facilities
• Oversee the ordering and stocking of operating supplies
• Perform regular maintenance inspections/audits and record findings
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of equipment
• Respond to emergency calls and take appropriate action
• Monitor maintenance costs and take steps to ensure efficiency
• Train and educate maintenance staff on proper safety protocols and procedures
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner and comply with legal and safety regulations along with Aptar expectations

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY

• Associates degree in electro-mechanical/electronics/electricity
• MINIMUM 1-3 years or more in a manufacturing injection molding maintenance role
• Knowledge of OSHA regulation
• Basic Knowledge of AC/DC electricity 24v - 480v
• Extensive troubleshooting skills for electrical, hydraulics, robotics, etc.
