Job summary

Aptar is seeking a Maintenance Technician Team Lead for our Auburn, AL site. You will supervise a maintenance crew, repair and optimize equipment, and manage parts stocking and maintenance plans to ensure peak performance.

You will implement safety procedures, respond to emergencies, monitor costs, and mentor staff to meet Aptar standards. This role requires hands-on expertise in electro-mechanical systems and strong OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electro-mechanical/electronics/electricity.
• 1-3 years in a manufacturing injection molding maintenance role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC electricity 24V–480V.
• Extensive troubleshooting skills for electrical, hydraulics, robotics, etc.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of maintenance staff and assign tasks.
• Maintain and repair equipment and facilities.
• Oversee the ordering and stocking of operating supplies.
• Perform regular maintenance inspections/audits and record findings.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Respond to emergency calls and take appropriate action.
• Monitor maintenance costs and ensure efficiency.
• Train maintenance staff on safety protocols and procedures.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with legal and Aptar standards.

We have an exciting position open in North America: Maintenance Technician Team Lead reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This position will be based in Auburn, AL.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY

• Associates degree in electro-mechanical/electronics/electricity
• MINIMUM 1-3 years or more in a manufacturing injection molding maintenance role
• Knowledge of OSHA regulation
• Basic Knowledge of AC/DC electricity 24v – 480v
• Extensive troubleshooting skills for electrical, hydraulics, robotics, etc.
