Job summary

Aptar is seeking a Maintenance Pad Technician based in Auburn, AL. You will maintain and repair HVAC, chiller, cooling tower, and air compressor systems, and install multi-ton rooftop units. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with plans and specifications, and defect diagnosis.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, HVAC training (associate program preferred), and strong technical, inspection, and problem‑solving skills to support our North America operations.

Qualifications

• Must complete high school.
• Associate program or course for an HVAC technician from a training institute is preferred.
• Must possess excellent technical skills.
• Must have the ability to identify technical issues.
• Should have complex problem solving skills.
• Good inspection skills is a must.
• Must possess excellent investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing HVAC, chiller, cooling tower, and air compressor systems.
• Installation, repairing and maintenance of multi-ton roof top units.
• Identifying defects in components as well as wires and finding solutions to solve the defect.
• Testing electrical circuits for troubleshooting purposes.
• Ensuring that all the system compliance is as per plans and specifications.
• Ensuring that all the safety procedures are followed.
• Inspecting various electrical systems used for heating, cooling, and ventilation.
• Reassembling required equipment in order to follow repairs.
• Complying with all the appliance standards.
• Locating local malfunctions.
