Job summary

Yugo is seeking a Maintenance Technician in State College, PA to ensure safety and upkeep across the community. You will handle resident requests, perform repairs, and support property operations while maintaining high service standards.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry tasks and assist with safety compliance. A positive, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred per local regulation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently with high-quality repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies with good service and follow-up.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair, carpentry.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas.
• Maintain pools, spas and related equipment per local safety requirements.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents with inspections and turn activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as directed to ensure quality work.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory and ensure storage areas are organized.
