Job Description Summary:

This role involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

Details:

• Property Type: Stabilized
• Unit Count: 270
• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 9am - 6pm (subject to change based on business needs)
• Experience: 1-2 years of maintenance experience; high-rise experience preferred

Responsibilities include:

• Completing work orders, diagnosing issues, and making repairs following safety standards and codes.
• Preparing vacant units for leasing through the make-ready process, including inspections, scheduling, and completing maintenance tasks.
• Managing materials and supplies, tracking inventory, and reporting re-order needs.
• Documenting work and service requests accurately and promptly.
• Maintaining grounds and common areas through cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supporting cost-efficiency by repairing rather than replacing parts and practicing resourcefulness.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participating in safety meetings, completing OSHA and other safety training, and reporting incidents.
• Inspecting contractor work for quality and compliance.
• Conducting routine inspections to identify safety concerns and property needs.

Licenses and Certifications:

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certification (for certified technicians).
• Relevant state and local certifications.
• Valid driver’s license for operating golf carts, if applicable.

The hourly rate ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 in San Diego, CA, with additional compensation factors and benefits as detailed in the full description.
