Job summary

MG Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Sonoran Apartments in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves performing trades across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems to maintain and improve apartment communities.

You will handle repairs, turnovers, and provide strong resident service while supporting on-call rotations. The ideal candidate has solid experience in apartment maintenance, is customer-service oriented, and can work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• On-call availability and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean grounds, offices, and common areas to maintain appearance and safety.
• Complete maintenance service requests in a timely manner.
• Repair appliances and perform general upkeep tasks as needed.
• Paint and prepare units during turnovers between residents.
• Respond to emergency calls and prioritize safety and quality.
• Support on-call rotation and coordinate with property staff.

We are a large regional property management firm looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sonoran Apartments, in Phoenix, AZ!

The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused. Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more!

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property!
• Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, a/c, etc.) a must!
• Customer service attitude, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are key to making this position a success!
• As a condition of employment, all employees must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings being made during the performance of their work duties.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST!
• Availability to work on-call rotation.
