Job summary

Saint Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich, RI is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Skilled Nursing Facility. This full-time, day-shift position runs 8am to 4:30pm, with one week per month on-call rotation.

The role focuses on routine facility maintenance, minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds duties. We offer competitive pay starting at $25/hour, excellent staffing ratios, and benefits including health coverage, retirement plan, tuition assistance, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience and knowledge of boiler and generator operation preferred.
• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.

• Minor electrical work (changing light bulbs/ballasts/running new outlets).
• Light carpentry.
• Minor plumbing.
• HVAC equipment maintenance (changing fan belts/motors/air filters).
• Seasonal grounds maintenance (shoveling/sanding).
