Job summary

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Silverado Apartments in Frisco, Texas. This hands-on role handles HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs, performs preventative maintenance, and completes apartment turns to prep homes for new residents.

You will work with the maintenance and community teams, respond to service requests promptly, and participate in the rotational on-call schedule to ensure resident satisfaction and property standards.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required; HVAC certification strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances and general maintenance repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple service requests and maintenance needs.
• Willingness to participate in rotational on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Support the Lead Maintenance Supervisor with property projects and maintenance priorities.
• Communicate professionally with residents and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in the rotational on-call schedule and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, plus rotational on-call duty for after-hours maintenance emergencies

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Silverado Apartments in Frisco, Texas.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and taking pride in keeping an apartment community operating at a high level. You'll work alongside the maintenance and community teams to complete service requests, prepare apartment homes for new residents, perform preventative maintenance, and help maintain the overall appearance and condition of the property.
