Job summary

Boyne Mountain Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily work orders, service calls and logs of maintenance on resort structures. Eligible teammates enjoy perks and an on-site environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include pool and boiler maintenance, guest room upkeep, equipment repair and preventative maintenance, along with snow removal and water system inspections. A valid license and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Working knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and electrical.
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems is helpful.
• Have basic hand tools; employer provides specialty tools as needed.
• Able to crouch, bend, stand or sit for prolonged periods.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform pool care and maintenance; boiler room water testing and water softener care.
• Conduct air conditioning and heat change-overs.
• Complete guest room care and maintenance.
• Repair and maintain food service equipment.
• Review and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Assist in snow removal.
• Maintain infrastructure maintenance; water system inspection.
• Maintain accurate time and material repair billing records.
• Utilize a motor vehicle to pick up supplies, parts and materials as necessary.

Sign-on bonus payout rules: Earn a $500 Sign-on Bonus! New Hire or Re-hire (must not have worked for Boyne Mountain within the past 6 months) will receive $250 Bonus after completing30 days of employment, the 2nd payment of $250 will be paid after 90-days of employment.

As a Maintenance Technician you are responsible for completing daily work orders and service calls, and maintaining an accurate log of routine and preventative maintenance performed on Boyne Mountain Resort structures.
