Maintenance Technician - Shift: 11:00AM - 7:30PM

Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures, pipe and electrical systems, mechanical and hydraulic components of production machinery, engines, motors, pneumatic and conveyor systems. Tasks are performed under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.

Shift Details

11:00 AM - 7:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance, including replacing switches, outlets, bulbs, ballasts, transformers, sockets, and fuses.
• Conduct minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks and clearing obstructions.
• Carry out minor HVAC maintenance like filter replacements and belt changes.
• Perform minor carpentry repairs, including masonry, woodwork, wall repairs, and flooring.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Operate motor vehicles and handle tools safely.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings for installation and repair tasks.
• Respond to emergency situations during and after hours.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Good attendance and work record.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Ability to operate scissors and two-man lift.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, climb, and kneel for extended periods.
• Agility to maneuver stairs, ladders, and challenging areas.
• Use of hands for handling objects and tools.
• Endurance for hot and cold temperatures.
• Good eye-hand coordination.
• Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.

Additional Information

Work involves occasional weekends and evenings when on call. Travel between buildings is common.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
