Job summary

Axis Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Affinity at Burlington in Burlington, WA. The role focuses on on-site maintenance, resident safety, and a high level of customer service to sustain a welcoming community.

You will respond to work orders, assist with repairs across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and participate in preventative maintenance while providing after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and strong communication with residents.
• Team player with a 'we over me' approach.
• Proficient in English; able to read, write, and speak clearly.
• Computer literacy including email and Microsoft Office.
• Preferred experience in property maintenance or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community facilities and units; perform repairs and maintenance.
• Respond to service requests and work orders promptly and professionally.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and appliance work.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday emergency services when required.
• Maintain grounds and clean common areas.
