Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant at Ellery Arbor Memory Care in Colleyville, TX. The role supports the Maintenance Director with upkeep of the community, equipment, and common areas while ensuring safety and quality in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining grounds and facilities, tracking repairs, and inspecting daily for hazards. Candidates should have 6 months of residential maintenance experience and be able to lift

Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience in a position handling residential maintenance items.
• Experience with sheet rock, carpentry, plumbing, painting, changing light fixtures, and other general building maintenance.
• Thorough understanding of building and fire safety.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as requested by the Maintenance Director (light bulbs, AC filters, painting, plumbing, carpentry, drywall).
• Assist with maintenance of all community areas, grounds, fences, parking, and equipment.
• Assist with maintenance of service and kitchen equipment and preventative maintenance records.
• Conduct daily inspection of building, grounds, and equipment.
• Promote safety for residents, visitors, and associates by identifying hazards.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
