Job summary

Midtown Assisted Living Residence in Hollywood, Florida is seeking a reliable maintenance professional to join our facilities team. You will maintain and repair living spaces, ensure safety, and support a comfortable environment for residents.

The role covers landscaping, HVAC maintenance, door locks, plumbing and electrical tasks, window and surface care, and collaboration with staff to keep the facility in top condition. A high school diploma and relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, electrical systems, alarms, appliances, HVAC units.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service mindset.
• Ability to read and understand English; able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Repair and maintain doors, windows, and locks.
• Service heating and cooling units according to guidelines.
• Perform routine upkeep of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Support safety audits and life-safety duties.
• Operate hand tools and perform minor carpentry.
• Keep facilities clean and safe for residents.
