Our Next Energy is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the second shift at our Belleville, MI facility. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex equipment, diagnose issues, and implement repairs to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills, plus the ability to read blueprints and work instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics trade or certified apprenticeship.
• Experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions, blueprints and documentation.
• Welding experience and ability to operate machine shop equipment.

Responsabilités

• Work safely and comply with all safety processes.
• Comply with quality system work instructions.
• Monitor, diagnose, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems as directed.
• Complete PMs and PdM routes.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform fabrication tasks.
• Install and operate basic machine shop equipment as required.
• Document corrective actions within the maintenance system.
