Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics Inc. (CLI) is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Second Shift in our Tennessee facility to install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.

This role requires strong PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical skills and the ability to perform preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate has at least three years of manufacturing maintenance experience, OSHA 10 or 30 cert preferred, and is comfortable using hand and power tools, meters, and RFID equipment, with

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) + years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical/electronic and industrial skills with some HVAC.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred.
  • Able to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling/ mobile equipment in performing duties.
  • Computer skills preferably with Microsoft Office Suites, Outlook and RFID scanning equipment.
  • Ability to take initiative to identify potential problems and solutions.
  • Must have a high level of motivation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Mechatronics and/or electronics background is necessary.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to accurately complete and file required reports and documents and excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Understand federal, state and local codes and regulations.
  • Ability to perform work independently.

As one of the fastest growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - SECOND SHIFT. You will be responsible for the following:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

  • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronics, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to accurately complete and file required reports and documents and excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Understand federal, state and local codes and regulations.
  • Ability to perform work independently.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical requirements for this job directly reflect the essential functions necessary to be successful in this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing and sitting throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will also need to adjust to changes in temperature and noise level.

Hours: 4 pm to 12:30 am plus approved overtime.
