Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our California communities. You will perform multi-trade maintenance, uphold property standards, and deliver quality service to residents and teams.

The role emphasizes safety, reliable repairs, and proactive upkeep, with a focus on curb appeal and collaboration with management. Ability to work with computers and communicate effectively in English is essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in a community setting.
• Proficient in writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Experience with appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Able to use computers and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Own and help drive the preservation of the property's physical attributes.
• Provide complete support to management in upholding community and corporate standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all safety measures are enforced.
• Assist in maintaining the shop, company equipment, inventory control and ensuring property security.
• Be an inspector to maintain curb appeal and present the property at its best.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and teammates.

Here are some of the things you have already conquered!

• At least one year prior experience in the maintenance needs of a community
• Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building maintenance
• You are proficient in writing, speaking and understanding the English language
• You are able to use computers and related applications

The expected salary range for this California position is between $24 and $28. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
