Job summary

Taylor Metal Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex production equipment to ensure uninterrupted output of high-quality products. Duties include inspecting machinery, dismantling access points, and conducting routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience, basic math and communication skills, and a forklift

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic math and written communication skills are essential.
  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience on industrial machinery.
  • Forklift certification required (will certify in-house).
  • Valid driver’s license is preferred for job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Dismantle machines to access parts using hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on drives, motors, belts, and fluids.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems using manuals and schematics; repair equipment.
  • Repair machines and structures with hand tools, welding devices, and measuring instruments.
  • Assemble, install, or repair wiring, piping, or machine components; maintain equipment.
