Job summary

T.C. Harris School & Academy, a MyPath Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep buildings safe and functional for residents and staff. You will perform routine repairs, assist with preventative maintenance, and help manage grounds and winter maintenance tasks.

The role requires a safety-minded, dependable individual capable of working independently or as part of a team, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of maintenance experience required.
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical repair, painting, boiler or heating systems, and grounds maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned repairs and maintenance work orders as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist with repair, upkeep, and safe operation of tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Support maintenance of boilers, heaters, water systems, and building systems.
• Assist with preventative maintenance planning and completion.
• Carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas.
• Respond to maintenance needs in other departments as required.
