Job summary

Nutrien in Aurora, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance and overhauls on equipment, follow safety policies, and support continuous improvement across the facility. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires the ability to work in teams and in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary training preferred.
• Ability to read and follow standards and procedures.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and overhauls on various equipment.
• Follow safety policies and environmental guidelines.
• Use PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, face shields.
• Work as part of a team to complete assignments and minimize downtime.
• Repair various equipment and assist in upgrades.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train and work in all facility areas as required.
• Work from elevated structures and confined spaces when needed.
• Complete progression training within timelines.
• Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations.
• Work outdoors around potentially hazardous chemicals.
