Job summary

ADM Animal Nutrition in Sabetha, KS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain production facilities and research areas. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, lead new equipment installations, and modify utility lines while ensuring safety and quality.

This hourly role requires attention to detail and teamwork to support smooth operations. Responsibilities include maintaining preventive schedules, addressing issues promptly, and communicating any safety or product

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in maintenance/related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a grain processing plant or related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical blueprints.
• Ability to operate forklift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong safety and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general preventive maintenance schedules for production and research areas.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, gas, steam, water and air problems.
• Lead installation of new plant equipment.
• Install and/or modify electric, air, water, steam and gas supply lines.
• Modify the process flow to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• Maintain the building and surrounding facilities.
• Notify Plant Manager of issues that may cause production delays.
• Identify food safety and product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.
• Work in a safe, effective, and collaborative manner.
