Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports uptime and efficiency through preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The technician will work both independently and with teams to ensure equipment operates safely, meeting quality and production goals.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment repair.
Knowledge of robotics, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems.
PLC troubleshooting experience and ability to read schematics and blueprints.
Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens Step 7 controls.
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Basic understanding of building maintenance and facility systems.
Ability to work safely while following lockout/tagout procedures and other safety requirements.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.
