Job summary

gpac is partnering with a growing, family-owned food manufacturer in the Southern Wisconsin area to hire a Maintenance Technician specializing in robotics. The role focuses on hands-on automation, robotics, and new production lines, with a strong emphasis on reliability and uptime.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in industrial maintenance, with hands-on robotics troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical skills. The position offers 2nd or 3rd shift, full-time onsite, and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Hands-on robotics troubleshooting and repair required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with automated production lines, conveyors, motors, sensors.
• Industrial manufacturing experience is required.
• Preferred: Associate degree or technical training in related field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial robots and automated equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain conveyors, packaging equipment, motors, sensors.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support installation and startup of new production lines and equipment.
• Work with production teams to improve equipment reliability and uptime.

This is a great opportunity for a maintenance professional who enjoys working with automation, robotics, and newer technology. The facility is continuing to invest in automation and recently added multiple new production lines.

2nd or 3rd Shift | Southern Wisconsin

$30+/hour DOE

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial robots and automated production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain conveyors, slicing and packaging equipment, motors, sensors, and related systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Support the installation and startup of new production lines and equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes
• Partner with production to improve equipment reliability, safety, and uptime

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
• Hands-on robotics troubleshooting and repair experience required
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with automated production lines, conveyors, packaging machinery, motors, sensors, or similar equipment
• Industrial manufacturing experience required
• Technical training, certifications, or an Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Automation, Automated Factory Systems, or a related field is preferred
