Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician RMX to keep production equipment in peak condition at multiple CO sites. The role requires diagnosing, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on a range of fixed machinery, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Applicants should have 2+ years in mechanical repair and basic welding/fabrication. A background with skid-steer operation is a plus, and a strong safety mindset is essential for this on-site position in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Operate basic plant equipment and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment in ready state and perform inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain a wide variety of fixed mechanical equipment, systems and machinery.
• Prepare daily/weekly department operating reports and complete required paperwork.
• Perform emergency repairs to address plant breakdowns while adhering to safety procedures.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment in a state of readiness.Preforms the appropriate production equipment inspections and preventative maintenance. Prepares all required daily/weekly department operating reports. This position will be responsible forthe diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a wide variety of fixed mechanical equipment, systems andmachinery.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plan equipment by following the manufacture’s recommended service intervals and company procedures.
• Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
• Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments. Reports required repairs or other findings to Supervisor.
• Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to addressplant breakdowns.
• Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and completes all required paperwork in a timely fashion.

WHAT WE'RE LOOIKNG FOR

• Experience: 2+ years’ experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavyindustry
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must have a working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude, general plant maintenance
    experience - change screens, welding, cutting torch, wrenching (hand tools)
  • Operating a skid-steer, man-lift a plus.
  • Stick welding, arc welding, and lite fabrication a plus
  • Must have basic computer skills
