We’re looking to hire a hard-working, motivated, customer service-minded individual for the full-time position of Maintenance Technician.

Here is a summary of what we need from you:

  • Effective experience with work including routine service requests, preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, capital improvement and replacements, tool and equipment maintenance, and seasonal maintenance.
  • Experience with performing maintenance and/or repairs to building systems and apartments (Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, appliances, painting/drywall, HVAC, fire and security systems, elevators, as applicable.)
  • Snow removal experience. It will be mandatory.
  • The ability to be on-call for evening and weekend emergencies. Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to interact with tenants, vendors, and office staff.
  • Standard background check and drug screening required.

Requirements:

Minimum Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experiential Requirements:

  • 2+ years of multifamily or construction site management experience.
  • Prior experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and building systems.

Special Skills/Work Conditions Required:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate in English with tenants, emergency providers, and contractors.
  • Mechanical aptitude, skillful use of tools and equipment, and manual dexterity.
  • Use of a cell phone while on call.
  • Flexibility to manage overtime and be on-call as needed.
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport up to 50 lbs, and work in confined spaces or at heights over 20 feet.
